This blog is mainly to help me and Ron (my fabulous coach) keep track of what is going on in my training. Good days. Bad days. Successes and failures. Aches and pains. That sort of thing. But please come visit once in a while to see how we're getting on!

A sticky 22M day

22M - double; 10M recovery & 12M fast/slow
10M am recovery run with pack at ~6.45min/M
12M pm alternating fast/slow: 6x1M at 5.15-5.20 and 6x1M at 7.30-8.00min/M

I've been really tired these last two weeks (which I'm supposed to be). And the heat doesn't help. What was billed as a refreshing 10 along the river in the cool morning breeze turned out to be a sweat-fest. And you wouldn't want to come near me as I sit cooling off in Battersea Park after my more meaty evening session.

These fast/slow sessions are good fun, even if they are taxing. 1M seems to be over in a flash and I always feel like I'm whipping through the session.

My thigh is fab. My legs haven't felt this good sincet he marathon. Not a niggle to complain about.
