Core strength exercises (5 cycles)
Today felt like my first day back in training. I was really excited heading out the door and ran faster than I had planned. But hey, my legs have been well rested. I zipped around my favourite Brockwell and Dulwich Park 10 mile loop before the sun was strong.
I also squeezed in some core strength work in front of Masterchef. Similar to before the marathon (20 bicep curls, 15 straight arm raises, 24 hops, 20 squats, 20 single leg toe touches, 20 sit ups and 15 plank single leg raises per cycle). Five cycles. Two rounds of Masterchef to go. Speed work tomorrow if I wake up in time.
